HORSEPLAYERS UNITE
August 28th, 2007If you are pissed off about not being able to wager at your favorite track due to powerplays by some of Thoroughbred racing’s greatest venues, check out www.boycotttracknet.com.
Boycott TrackNet’s website greeting begins: “We demand that TrackNet’s exclusionary practices cease immediately. We demand open access for all ADWs at host rates that are fair for race tracks, horsemen and customers. We call upon our fellow horseplayers to join together as we wage a battle for the survival of this great sport. We ask you to boycott all TrackNet tracks and instead show support for those tracks that play fair.”
When online wagering was initiated, it was to make our sport more accessible to the fans. Now, you need at least two betting services to cover the bulk of racetracks around the country.
This situation is a pain where a pill won’t reach.

You’ll be glad you did.
